In recent years, many concerned with the role of greehouse gas emissions and global warming have advocated that we quickly increase the amount of nuclear energy produced around the world in order to replace carbon-based energy to significantly reduce greehouse gas emissions. However, many others have rasied concerns about nuclear waste and safety and disagree with this approach. Participants will debate whether nuclear energy has a place in our efforts to create a more sustainable future.
