Son of the legendary jazz saxophonist John Coltrane, saxophonist Ravi Coltrane has had some rather big shoes to fill. Highly touted for good reason, Ravi has been a vital member of the New York jazz scene since 1991 when he began his professional career. Since then, the tenor and soprano saxophonist has performed and recorded with other jazz stars such as Jack DeJohnette, Herbie Hancock and Kenny Barron.
