Tammy Nuzzo-Morgan, was awarded The Long Island Poet of the Year Award by the Walt Whitman Birthplace Association in 2017. She was also the Suffolk County Poet Laureate in 2009-2011, founder and president of Long Island Poetry Place and Poet in Residence at the Southampton Historical Museum. Ms. Nuzzo-Morgan lives in North Sea and is a professor of humanities at Briarcliffe College. Please join us for an evening of poetry in the lush gardens at Southampton’s oldest home - The Thomas Halsey Homestead, established c. 1680. Enjoy wine and light refreshments following the readings.
