Description

The event is a reception for the artist, Elinore Schnurr, who is currently exhibiting 29 paintings in the Art Gallery at the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library until March 28, 2017. The gallery is open during Library Hours, which are posted on the Library web site.   http://hwpl.org

 

The ARTIST'S RECEPTION is on Thursday evening, March 2, from 6 - 8.

 

The artist has titled the exhibition "REFLECTIONS AND PORTENTS" for the way the paintings explore reflections in outside windows of buildings, merging them with the people visible within and sometimes incorporating "portents" of destruction and war.
