The Robbie Levine Foundation is proud to announce it will be hosting the 9th Annual “Robbie’s Run” on Sunday, April 27 at The Norman J. Levy-Lakeside School in Merrick, New York. All proceeds will go to the Robbie Levine Foundation to provide Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for youth athletic teams, sports programs or any other team/person in need of AEDs.
“Robbie’s Run” is in memory of 9-year-old Robbie Levine, who died at his little league practice while running the bases of sudden cardiac arrest on September 27, 2005. The foundation was founded to honor the memory of Robbie and to raise awareness of the need and importance of Automated External Defibrillators to save lives, a piece of equipment that could’ve saved Robbie’s life had it have been available at the time of Robbie’s tragedy.
Event Details:
· The Children’s Fun Run – 8:30 a.m – ½ Mile Fun Run for children of all ages, ending at home plate. All fun run participants will receive a medal after finishing
· 1 Mile Mini Run – (Walkers Welcome) 8:50 a.m – 1 mile Mini Run on a modified course for those who want more than a Fun Run and less than a 5K. All Mini Run participants will receive a medal after finishing
· The 5k Main Run – 9:15 a.m – The 5K run will be “flat and fast” races course alone the streets of Merrick.

About the Robbie Levine Foundation
The Robbie Levine Foundation was founded in 2005 in memory of nine year old Robbie Levine who died of sudden cardiac arrest at his little league practice. The foundation raises awareness of the need for AEDs in youth sports.
