Walk Leader: Eleni Nikolopoulos, South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo) Nature Educator
Let’s play I Spy on the beach, looking for something that is both natural AND manmade…sea glass! Have you ever thought about sea glass from the perspective of the glass and what story it might tell? In this program, we’ll scour the beach looking for weathered sea glass and come up with inventive stories about how it wound up there, its journey, and its transformation. After our walk, we’ll discuss some fun ideas about how to utilize our new treasures.
Advance reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: (631) 537-9735.
