Event Abstract: Birdwatch the bay, beach and boardwalks in the shadow of the iconic Fire Island Lighthouse.
Event Description: Its International Migratory Bird Day and a perfect time to go bird watching at the Fire Island Lighthouse. Meet a Park Ranger at Robert Moses State Park, Field #5 and bird along the beach and boardwalks surrounding the iconic lighthouse. May is Citizen Science Month –information on birds sighted during this program will be uploaded to eBird.org. Bring binoculars if you have them.
