Atlantic Theater Company and the Strand kick off a new series with two exciting award-winning playwrights in conversation. Olivier Award-winning British playwright Simon Stephens will join his acclaimed American colleague Annie Baker in conversation about the current state of plays and playwriting in the UK and America as well as their collaborations with directors. Stephens' play, 'Harper Regan' will have its New York premiere at Atlantic this fall. Baker's play, 'Body Awareness,' had its world premiere at Atlantic in 2008. The two will discuss their views on collaboration, the state of contemporary playwriting in the US and UK. The Atlantic Company's Associate Artistic Director Christian Parker will moderate the evening.
