If you are thinking of becoming certified this is a GREAT introduction to this sport! Discover Scuba is a program lead by an experienced instructor who will introduce non divers to Scuba in a safe, controlled, and enjoyable environment in their heated indoor swimming pool.
Participants receive a short classroom orientation to breathing underwater as well as a few skills commonly used by divers. Then we put on our scuba gear and head to the pool for an hour of fun practice under the supervision of a very experienced Padi instructor.
Bring bathing suit & towel. LI Scuba will supply all equipment for the Scuba lesson in the pool.
* Parents OK to bring children over age 10 for lessons.
COUPLES welcomed also. Hot refreshments served after instructions Discover Scuba program is usually $50 per person, but for our group cost it is only $30 reserve now.
