Date & Time
The South Shore Blueway Trail provides safe, legal access for paddlers and other human-powered boaters to the Hempstead Bays and South Oyster Bay on Long Island’s south shore. After five years of stakeholder input, the community is invited to a free public event to celebrate the new trail, which provides a unique opportunity to ensure more people, young and old and people of all abilities, can access south shore waterways.
