Description

 Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas, specializing in small plates with modern twists to Italian classics and fine wines from around the world, is inviting guests to enjoy date night dining – or lunch for lovers.

From Thursday, February 11 – Sunday, February 14, Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas will offer a five-course prix fixe menu for those looking to wine and dine their sweethearts.

Guests can choose between two dishes per course, with the option to add a complementary wine pairing. The full menu includes:

ANTIPASTI

  • Beef Carpaccio – Pecorino tartufo, sunny-side quail egg and lemon oil. Paired with San Matteo Gavi.
     
  • Blue Point Oyster – Soaked in Prosecco mignonette. Paired with Zardetto Prosecco.

PRIMI

  • Barolo Risotto – Wild mushroom ragu. Paired with Boroli Nebbiolo Blend.
     
  • Beet and Goat Cheese Ravioli – Poppy seed and brown butter. Paired with Chateau Graville-Lacoste Bordeaux Blanc from Bordeaux, France.

SECONDE

  • Seared Scallops – Fennel orange salad, carrot purée and parsley oil. Paired with Donnachiara Greco di Tufo.
     
  • Arctic Char – Pan-roasted, smashed borlotti beans, lemon cream and orange gremolata. Paired with Cincinnato ‘Castore’ Bellone.

PIATTI PRINCIPAL

  • Petit Filet – Baby vegetables and salmoriglio sauce. Paired with Schola Sarmenti ‘Roccamora’ Negroamaro.
     
  • Cast Iron Chicken Breast – Mushroom ragu and butternut squash purée. Paired with Chateau Milon Cuvee Caprice Bordeaux.

DOLCI

  • Chocolate Terrine – Black truffle gelato, candied walnuts and Luxardo cherries. Paired with Fizz 56 Brachetto.
     
  • Salted Caramel Budino – Whipped crema. Paired with Fontanafredda Moscato d’Asti.

The tasting menu is available for $45 per person, or $65 including wine pairings. Menu selections are also available a la carte.
