The Stress Management Workshop is a small group, 7 week experience that meets on Saturdays for 90 minutes in Merrick. (Specific time of day may vary based on group needs.)
At the stress Management Workshop you will master a variety of skills that you can use immediately whenever confronted with challenging life circumstances. Skills covered during the workshop include understanding stress: our power to help ourselves, recognizing and challenging negative self-talk and belief patterns, assertion and communication skills, overcoming fears, meditation and breathing techniques, and time management.
Following completion of the 7 week workshop, optional monthly follow-up workshops are available for those who would like to continue their group experience. Follow-ups cover additional topics and provide ongoing support as participants integrate the skills learned into a lasting part of their lifestyles.
