Description

Our Fabulous Variety Show (OFVS) presents a celebration of the history and art of tap dance! Featuring professional tap dancer, Aaron Tolson and his tap dance company, Speaking in Taps! This performance is sponsored by Hamptons Lifelong Arts/Hamptons AARP. The show aims to introduce people to the incredible world of tap from its roots to its many off-shoots in the hopes to continue to spread the love and appreciation of this wonderful artistic dance style. Choreographed and directed by Anita Boyer, the show will feature local talent from Manhattan to Montauk presenting an eclectic evening of dance! Comedic actor Tony D’Alessio will host the evening’s festivities, featuring favorites like Shirley Temple, Bill Bojangles Robinson’s Stair Dance, Broadway showstoppers, jazzy quintets, modern rhythm and classic standards.
