Taste That Jazz

Taste That Jazz, the Safe Center's annual food, dessert and beverage tasting fundraiser will celebrate the music and style ofthe age of jazz and feature cuisine and beverages from popular Long Island restaurants, caterers, bakeries, breweries, and distilleries.

Come and sample Creole, Cajun, French, Southern soul food, and barbeque dishes.  Are your tastes geared more towards Seafood, Italian, Asian Fusion,Mexican, Cuban or other cuisine?  How about indulging on dessert or samplng beer from one of Long Island's up and coming breweries?  No worries.  There will be many choices available.  Our Exclusive Wine Sponsor, Palm Bay International will be providing a wine tasting from its portfolio of wines while a cabaret feature live jazz will enterain guests throughout the evening.

Proceeds from this event will support direct services provided by The Safe Center to child and adult victims of abuse and sexual assault.  Victims can access a 24-hour domestic abuse and sexual assault hotline, legal assistance and advocacy, crisis intervention,emergency safe shelter, referrals, transitional and permanent housing, individual and group counseling, and hospital advocacy.
