Description

TED Talks are designed to provide detailed and concise information delivered by an expert in a short period of time, usually ten-twenty minutes. Since 2006 millions of viewers have expanded their learning in hundreds of areas as they privately watched various TED Talks on their personal computers in the privacy of their own homes. As educational and motivational as this experience has been for so many, access to immediate sharing of ideas has limited the full potential of TED Talks. To address this limitation, this seminar presents a TED Talk in a group setting, which is followed by a group discussion facilitated by motivational speaker Constance Hallinan Lagan. The topic of this seminar is body language. People communicate both verbally and non-verbally. Often non-verbal communication, such as facial expression, posture, micro expressions and body movements, are more telling than verbal communication. Non-verbal communication is immediate, revealing, and comprises most of what creates the “first impression.” Call to register: 516-466-8055.
