The Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons presents Blue Dream’s 2015 Annual Summer Gala, to take place Saturday, August 29th, at 6:30pm. The event will be held at The Muses, on Saint Andrews Road.
The gala includes dinner, cocktails, and dancing. This year Blue Dream will feature honorary chair Matt Dillon and Master of Ceremonies Rosanna Scotto. Both Amani Global Works and Refugees International are the honorees.
Amani Global Works’ central philosophy is to Care, Cure and Make Whole by providing healthcare to one of the most impoverished and forgotten areas of Africa, Idjwi Island. AGW’s mission is to develop a wrap around, self-sustaining health system infrastructure that will improve the physical, social, and economic well being of every Ban’Idjwi, while promoting a sense of hope, dignity, and optimism across the entire community.
Refugees International is a leading advocacy organization, which campaigns for lifesaving assistance and protection for refugees and people who have been displaced by conflict, persecution or natural disasters. RI’s advocates provide targeted, actionable recommendations to the world’s leaders to compel them to provide support to those who need it most.
