Are you big enough to volunteer?

If you have a big heart, that’s a good start!

 

Amityville Public Library

Sunday, October 14th

1:30 – 3:00

 

Children from ages 7 to 10 are invited to:

 

  • Read and learn about community service and voluntarism
  •  Learn about winning a $100 grant to start their own

       Community Service Project awarded by JLLI.

  • Give back to the Community by making personal care bags to be donated to The INN, a local agency serving hungry & homeless Long Islanders*

 

Admission is free, but space is limited so please register early by contacting JLLI at (516) 484-0485

 

*All personal care bags and any additional donations of dry or canned goods that are brought that day will be donated to The INN network consisting of 19 Soup Kitchens, & emergency shelters that was founded in 1983.
