Take advantage of up to 70 percent off prices on food and drink as the venerable Peter's Calm Bar celebrates its 75th Anniversary with Throwback Thuirsdays, when the waterside eatery presents its menu from 1975, complete with pricing of 40 years ago. It's pricing that translates to 35 to 70 peercnt less than 2015 levels on some of Peter's most popular dishes. Witness a Dozen Little Neck Clams for just $7, as opposed to today's $14 and Fried Clam Strips with French fries, Peter's signature cole slaw and house made tartar sauce for $7.95 now $16.95. Or Fried Shrimp with the same accompaniments as the clams at $10.95... $16.95 on the circa 2015 menu. And Two Lobster Tails with fries, slaw and drawn butter for only $21.95, which isn't even available on Peter's current menu!
In fact, Throwback Thursdays will see the come back of a number of dishes Peter's has retired over the years, including a broad selection of broiled seafood and several shellfish salad boasting cold platters. All at 1975 prices that exend to some beverages. So regardless of what you choose to eat, you can wash it down with $2.50 beers,$1.75 wines by the gass or $1.50 large Pepsis.
