Time Stands Still is a play written by the Pulitzer Prize award winner, Donald Margulies. Five Towns College is proud to announce that Academy Award winner, Theatre Arts Division Professor Milton Justice will be the Director of the College’s production. Time Stands Still is set in Brooklyn and the story revolves around the main character, Sarah, a photojournalist, who has returned from covering the Iraq war after being injured by a roadside bomb. Her relationship with her journalist boyfriend, James, is examined as he is overcome with guilt after leaving Sarah alone there after suffering a mental breakdown. They receive a visit from their friend, Richard, a photo editor, who introduces them to his new “very young and hot” girlfriend, Mandy. This production tells the story about a close relationship that changes over time and is impacted by developing social issues.
Thursday, Friday & Saturday evening performances begin at 7:30pm, Sunday matinee performance begins at 2pm.
