Mission: We are devoted to raising funds for intestinal failure research caused by Microvillus Inclusion Disease & other rare genetic diseases.
Vision: The development of a cure to eradicate genetically-caused intestinal failure.
History: Thomas Kevin Onorato was the inspiration for starting TKO Strong Foundation, Inc.. Thomas suffers from Microvillus Inclusion Disease., a devastating genetic disease resulting in intestinal failure. The rarity of this disease and other orphan diseases is the cause for minimal research. There is no cure for Microvillus Inclusion Disease or genetically-caused intestinal failure. Therefore, we have taken the initiative to raise money to support intestinal failure research in hopes of finding a cure for all individuals living with this disease.
