The Town of Hempstead Triathlon, an exciting combination of a 3/4 mile ocean swim, 10-mile bike ride and 5-mile run is a late-summer tradition and one of Long Island's signature athletic events.
Registration: Entry forms are available after Monday, May 11th. Entry forms may be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: TOWN OF HEMPSTEAD TRIATHLON, 200 NORTH FRANKLIN ST., HEMPSTEAD, NY 11550. Registration deadline is Thursday, August 27th. Fee: $44 resident; $66 non-resident ($22 resident seniors and veterans). Please make checks or money orders payable to The Town of Hempstead.
Program: Saturday, Spetember 12th, 8 AM start. Limit of 300 participants.
