Here at the Troop 272 we strive to make boys into men. We are a volunteer organization and because of this we need all the help we can get. We take time out of our busy lives to help out these boys get a different kind of education then the one they get at school. We provide them with an education to become well rounded young man. The morals and values that we live upon have been around since 1910 when the Boy Scouts of America was founded. We strive to teach the boys in our troop that even when they take off their scout uniform being trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent is just as important to be as when they have the uniform on. We want to nourish them into great leaders that will lead our country in the future and so that they can pass on the knowledge we have given them.
We are having our Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Chinese Auction Fundraiser on March 7. We invite you to come down, enjoy a plate of spaghetti, and help us raise money for all the wonderful things we do here. Being that this our biggest fundraiser of the year with your contribution it will greatly help us achieve our goals. With the money we raise we will use it for equipment and program so that the boys have the best time possible. Also we will use it for financial support to those who otherwise wouldn't be able to experience our program.
