The work of 16 Usdan Center visual art students will be exhibited (as well as several other artists) in the free annual "Embracing Our Differences," sponsored by the Suffolk CountyCenter on the Holocaust, Diversity and Human Understanding. The Usdan work was created this past summer at Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, the renowned summer arts day camp.
The mission of the exhibit is to build a better community by promoting cultural understanding and reinforcing values that respect human dignity.
Usdan Center, founded in 1968, has introduced the arts to more than 60,000 children, many on scholarship.
