To all NY-based VETERANS of America’s Armed Services: Darkhorse Benefits has partnered with Sleepy’s to invite you to a career fair and job readiness workshop on Wednesday May 4, 2016, followed by face-to-face interviews for all open positions including sales, operations, IT and more!
This exclusive event at Sleepy’s Corporate Headquarters in Hicksville, NY is open to all veterans in the Long Island and Greater New York area through Darkhorse Benefits, a veteran owned, non-profit organization (501c3). The primary mission of Darkhorse Benefits is to support veterans in their search for a rewarding and meaningful post-service career through training and partnership with local hiring companies such as Sleepy’s!
The job readiness workshop is open to all experience levels and backgrounds and will provide key tips, tactics and strategies on topics including:
• Applying military skills in business
• Interviewing skills
• Resume building
• Networking and Social Media
From there, you will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Sleepy’s hiring managers who will be ready and waiting to interview all veterans seeking employment in positions including Operations, Information Technology, Sales and more! Complementary lunch and refreshments will be provided.
