Join the park naturalist on this hour long hike around Walking Dunes. Discover how the dunes "walk". Enjoy gorgeous views of Napeague Harbor and the forest canopy while standing atop an 80 foot tall dune.
Wander through the Phantom Forest and into the Cranberry Bog. End the hike with a short walk along the inside of the harbor with opportunities of spotting shorebirds and other marine life.
Meet at the end of Napeague Harbor Road. Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather and comfortable shoes for hiking. Call 631-668-2554 to make your reservation or for further information.
