Spearheading this year’s Walk for Beauty, in a Beautiful Place, cancer survivors, town officials, sponsors and more will participate in “Wings of Hope,” a series of ceremonies which will include the release of birds with messages symbolizing the hope in the fight against breast cancer.
Supervisor Edward P. Romaine and Councilwoman Valerie M. Cartright will kick-off the first release ceremony at Brookhaven Town Hall on Thursday, October 1 at 2:00 pm.
Time change: original ceremony time was 4:30 PM, it has been changed to 2:00 PM.
