Levittown Community Council and Town of Hempstead celebrate Earth Day with a community-wide cleanup and planting. Participants will meet at Veterans Memorial Park, to sign up and receiving assigned location to clean. Bring your own rake, shovel and pickers or we will provide. Students needing volunteer hours will receive a certificate with hours they work. Scouts, sports teams, Key Clubs are invited to join in.
