"On Saturday, May 2, 2020, more than six hundred of our closest friends will take part in a 5-mile journey through the scenic villages of Port Jefferson and Belle Terre. They walk to support those touched by breast cancer. They step forward in memory of a mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, son, friend or co-worker whose life was cut short by the disease. They raise funds to help area residents receive state-of-the-art breast care in hope that no more lives will be taken.
In addition to the Walk, families may participate in fun activities including but not limited to the "Pink Your Pooch" costume contest, face painting, music by the Hackensackmen and Trenton Horns, interactive exhibits and health screenings.
