39th Annual Family Festival by the Sea

This family-fun Town of Hempstead event features midway rides and games for all ages, concerts, the National Circus Project, craft vendors and favorite fair food.

• Friday - ONE: Three Dog Night Tribute (7 pm), Decadia (9:15 pm)
• Saturday - Jerome "City" Smith (11:30 am), Wonderous Stories (2 pm), Nado (4:30 pm), Any Way You Want It: Journey Tribute (5:30 pm), 70s Rock Parade (8:30 pm)
• Sunday - Endless Summer: Beach Boys Tribute (noon), Generations (2:30 pm), Back in Time: Huey Lewis & the News Tribute (5 pm), Freebird: Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute (8 pm)

Festival admission is free. Ride wristbands are $30 on site; online in advance at Tickets for $20 each, 2 for $30 or a Family 4 Pack for $60; and online during the festival for $25 each or a Family 4 Pack for $85.

Midway hours are 5-10 pm Thursday, 5-11 pm Friday, noon-11 pm Saturday and noon-10 pm Sunday. The festival opens at 5 pm Thursday - Friday and 11 am Saturday - Sunday. Look for signs on Lido Boulevard for free shuttle bus service to and from the festival site.
