Fest (Science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) on Sunday, September 17 near the Hewlett-Woodmere Public library from 10-5.  Over 3,000 families are expected to attend this event which features educational and fun activities -- interactive activities for kids and all ages with a STEM twist, live music and dance on two stages (professional and young local performers), museums, the Cradle of Aviation Starlab, CSTL (Center for Science Teaching and learning), a gaming truck, food trucks,  robotics, drones, technology exhibits, local community groups, crafts and fun for the whole family.
Attached please find photos from last year and a press release (the final attachment).
We would be very grateful if you could include this popular festival staffed by local parents and students which benefits the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Schools in all calendars and if you would consider pre-event editorial coverage and blurbs to help get the word out. This is a truly unique, non-commercial event to bring the community together and enrich our young people.
