Our annual Chili Cook-Off is a day where Long Islanders can enjoy the most diverse, delicious, and creative meat and vegan chili dishes from local food establishments, area businesses, and local talent. Prizes will be given in several categories including a “People’s Choice” award.
kids_halloween.jpgAnd it's more than just a day to enjoy chili. It's a fun-filled afternoon with one-of-a-kind vendors, food, beverages, and children’s games. Then, at 3:30pm, we start our much-anticipated annual Halloween costume contest for kids under 10 years of age.
All proceeds benefit people impacted by mental illness and at-risk and homeless Veterans, including those with PTSD and depression.
