Temple Israel of Lawrence cordially invites you to join us for a Virtual Tour of The National Museum of American Jewish Military History Presented by Lt. Col. Sheldon Goldberg.
Lt. Col. Goldberg is a 30 year Air Force veteran who flew over 200 combat missions in Southeast Asia for which he earned two Distinguished Flying Crosses and 17 Air Medals. Col. Goldberg's other awards include the Vietnam Campaign Medal with 9 campaign stars.
The National Museum of American Jewish Military History is under the auspices of the Jewish War Veterans of the USA, the museum documents and preserves the contributions of Jewish Americans to the peace and freedom of the U.S, and educates the public concerning the courage, heroism and sacrifices made by Jewish Americans who served in the armed forces.
