Truth or tall tale? A milk snake really drinks milk. Skunks love to eat skunk cabbage. See if you can catch the fakery from the facts on a special hike at Sagamore Hill National Historic Site, Saturday, April 5, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Join naturalist Lois Lindberg for some light-hearted fun on an irreverent tour of the grounds and nature trails. The walk may not be on April 1, but get ready to be fooled!
It’s finally time to get outdoors and enjoy the spring. It seems that Mother Nature played a joke on us this winter. After all the cold, snowy weather, the trees in the woods will be re-leaved!
The nature walk will meet behind the park Visitor Center. It is free of charge and will last approximately 1½ hours. Please dress for the weather and bring a sense of humor!
