Admission to Astronomy Day: For the first talk or planetarium show: $12 for adults, $8 for children under 12; each additional talk or planetarium show is an
additional $5 (regardless of age). The price includes a grounds pass
and access to the exhibit areas of the Vanderbilt Museum and the
mansion. Reservations are not required.
SCHEDULE: Noon-1:00 PM- Child's planetarium show, "One World, One Sky"
1:00-2:00 PM- "It's Not Magic, It's Physics!" a program suitable for children of all
ages
2:00-3:00 PM- Planetarium show: "Stars"
3:00-4:00 PM- Lecture: "Exoplanets: A Census of Our Galactic Neighbors"
4:00 -5:00 PM- Lecture: "The Disappearing Sunspots and the Coming Grand Minimum"
