AUTUMN PLEIN AIR

In this course we will capture the afternoon light, with its long shadows and beautiful colors. Students will paint or draw in the open air, experiencing the pure joy of working from life outdoors! Focus will be given to selecting and developing individual compositions, locking in the changing shadow shapes and working on challenges of perspective. Students are encouraged to work in the medium of their choice- graphite, pen and ink, pastel, watercolor, acrylic or oil. (Locations to be announced. First session will be held at the Peconic River by the Carriage House.)
