The Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library is inviting you to join Greg LeBon, architect, professional sand-sculptor, and 7-time US Open Sandcastle Champion, as he sculpts Baby Yoda in sand.
The following supplies are recommended if you would like to try to sculpt your own Baby Yoda from home:
1. Sand (1-3 buckets, depending on how big you want your Baby Yoda to be. The finer the sand, the better.)
2. Water (A bucket of water or a garden hose with a nozzle)
3. Simple tools to help shape and carve the sculpture
a. Hand trawl - any shape
b. Pallet knives - from an art supply store
c. Straw (to blow away loose sand)
d. Brush (to remove loose sand after it is carved)
e. Miscellaneous tools (Look around the kitchen, garage
and scavenge for tools that you think would help.)
