Chef George Hirsch and Scott Franklin, East Region Director for ANGELS ENVY (R) Bourbon, will be hosting "Bourbon & BBQ," on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., at Temple Israel of Lawrence, 140 Central Avenue, Lawrence, N.Y.
Scorr Franklin will discuss the history of bourbon, how it has grown in popularity and will have all three ANGELS ENVY (R) Bourbons (Port Finish, Rum Finish and Cask Strength), for tasting.
Chef George Hirsch is celebrating his 25th anniversary since the launch of his ground-breaking TV series on public television. A CIA graduate, certified executive chef, best known for his down-to-earth guy-next-door personality, he will be preparing IPA turkey and vegetables, "Gear, Sear & Beer," building flavor with seasonings, herbs and marinades.
