"Broadway Family Favorites is family-friendly celebration of musical theatre with something for audience members of all ages whether it be toe-tapping tunes, clever lyrics or charismatic characters. Produced and hosted by New York Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis and created exclusively for our venue, five of Broadway’s finest vocalists will illuminate the stage with songs from classic and contemporary musicals based on timeless children’s stories and animated films. The concert will also include an enlightening and entertaining question and answer session with the audience. Scheduled performers are Todd Buonopane (Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella; Grease; The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee; Chicago), Sara Jean Ford (The Phantom of the Opera; Cats; How to Succceed in Business without Really Trying; A Little Night Music; Finian’s Rainbow), Liana Hunt (Newsies; Mamma Mia!), Jelani Remy (Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations; The Lion King) and Kissy Simmons (The Lion King). Musical Director/Accompanist will be Eugene Gwozdz. The evening will include musical selections from The Lion King; Mary Poppins; The Sound of Music; The Little Mermaid; Wicked; Newsies; The King and I; Aladdin; Annie: Beauty and the Beast; Once Upon a Mattress and more!!! It’s a perfect way to introduce younger audience members to the stage and to create and share new memories."
