About Valerie diLorenzo:

Valerie diLorenzo, a native New Yorker, has been performing for as long as she can remember. She originated the role of Texas Guinan, in the new musical “Jenny & Me” (The History of Sardi’s), which had its debut at the York Theatre in NYC; the role of Ginger in “And I Always Will”, a new play by Diana Canova and as Mother in Eco, (a post apocalyptic musical by Jenna Mate and Bethie Fowler) at Guild Hall in East Hampton. She continues to bring her popular cabaret and concert series to many venues throughout NYC and the East End.

Valerie’s one-woman shows have been defined as “…a seamless venture of magic in the making.” Her voice and showmanship have been critically acclaimed for presenting interesting and exciting music matched by “a beautiful voice, the kind most musical theatre wanna bees aspire to… and an engaging demeanor most society hostesses would give their eye tooth for.” She has played at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, The Metropolitan Room, The Triad, Judy’s, Tatou, Don’t Tell Mama’s, The Duplex, the Tunnel, Guild Hall, Avram Theatre, Southampton Arts Center, Levitas Center for the Arts, The Suffolk Theatter, Caramoor Center for the Arts, Mohonk Mountain House, Aventura Arts & Cultural Center (FL), Ruhala Performing Arts Center (MI), Carroll Arts Center (MD), and Odette’s and Frangelica’s in Pennsylvania, to name a few.

Valerie’s treasured collaboration with Maestro Barry Levitt has been featured at the Landmark Theatre in Port Washington and several area clubs. A fan of musical revues, Valerie was also a principal in “The Grand Tour” (Songs of Jerry Herman), “And The World Goes Round”, “Blues in the Night”, “Oh, Coward!”, “Blame it on the Movies”, “Cole”, and “By George, it’s Gershwin”.
