"We will be hiking the “lesser known” side trails in this, my favorite park. Who knows? Maybe we'll find a new one! Rain cancels; bring water and snack; meet in parking lot near the booth; from NY25 go north on Woodbury Rd., which becomes West Neck Rd. after crossing 25A in Huntington; proceed about 6 miles, entrance to park is on the left; from the east take NY 110 north to 25A in Huntington, turn left to West Neck Rd., turn right and go 6 miles to entrance on left."
