This time we'll be "living on the edge" as we hike the perimeter of the park; if not too cold we can also hit the beach; if the footing is not good we will stick to the paved path that is well maintained; rain or heavy snow cancels; bring water and snack; meet in parking lot near the booth; from NY 25 go north on Woodbury Rd., which becomes West Neck Rd. after crossing 25A in Huntington; proceed about 6 miles, entrance to park is on the left; from the east take NY 110 north to 25A in Huntington, turn left to West Neck Rd., turn right and go 6 miles to entrance on left.
