This February Break, the Cradle invites families to explore how engineering shapes the world around us—from transportation and future cities to robotics and problem-solving in action.

New Exhibit: AI and Robotics
Discover how artificial intelligence and robotics are transforming airports, transportation, and aerospace—and interact with robotic arms that bring tomorrow’s technology to life.

Family Activity: Scan, Smile, Fly Feb 14-Feb 22| 12-4 pm
Step into the role of a traveler as you explore how AI Facial Recognition is used in modern aviation by checking in a stuffed animal passenger and receiving a printed boarding pass to take home. Free with Museum Admission.

Operation Mincemeat Scavenger Hunt Feb 14–Feb 22 | 10 am–5 pm
Nine briefcases have been secretly placed throughout the galleries. Each holds an important letter—collect them all, crack the mystery code, and report to the Museum Store to claim your reward. A lighthearted WWII-style “mission briefing” will prepare your squad for undercover action.

Imagine stepping 50 years into the future and discovering smart cities designed to be sustainable and efficient. Engineers are planning this world right now.
