Come celebrate the fourth annual I Love My Park Day at Connetquot River State Park! I Love My Park Day is an exciting statewide event to improve and enhance New York's parks and historic sites and bring visibility to the entire park's system and its needs.
The projects will start at 8:30am and end at 12pm. Please meet at the Main House to get started. Appropriate for ages 13 and up. Volunteers interested in planting and pruning should bring garden gloves.
There are a number of projects to choose from, including: sanding & oiling benches, constructing and repairing picnic tables, painting the front porch, painting numbers on fishing sights, pruning, spreading wood chips, litter removal, weeding and planting in butterfly garden, and installing a wooden border around butterfly garden.
