Join us at Montauk Point State Park to celebrate the third annual I Love My Park Day! I Love My Park Day is an exciting statewide event to improve and enhance New York's parks and historic sites and bring visibility to the entire park's system and its needs.
Beginning at 10 AM at the lower parking lot comfort station, volunteers will be completing a beach clean up of the coastline at Montauk Point and Camp Hero State Parks. We will be pruning and cutting back the four-wheel-drive access roads to the beach for improved vehicle access. This event welcomes those of all ages to participate, and we ask volunteers to please bring tools (such as pruning shears, hand saws, lopers) and water.
The event will last until 1 PM.
