Hempstead Lake State Park

1:00-2:30pm

Freeze! It's time to experiment with ice and explore the properties of water.

Together we will observe how water changes phase from liquid, to solid, to gas. Can we make an ice cube stick to the end of a string? Find out the answer to this question and others as we conduct our icy experiments.

Special promotion for the newly opened Environmental Education and Resiliency Center, $4 per person program fee waived until 2022. Reservations are required for all programs. Space is limited. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive 10 minutes early.
