Connetquot River State Park Preserve has a unique past. It has had only a handful of owners, each one understanding and appreciating its uniqueness, from its original inhabitants, the Secatogue Native Americans, to its present caretakers, New York State. It is a wonderful, natural place filled with beauty and tranquility.
