Let's Find A Cure for Childhood Cancer:
Gold Ribbon Riders (GRR), Inc. is a Non-Profit organization inspired by a 10-month old girl named Sawyer who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma (a rare form of pediatric cancer) in 2018. GRR Inc. was established to help raise awareness and to fund pediatric cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, benefiting children all over the world. Last year our organization raised $413,675 which allowed us to directly fund our own clinical trial at MSK.
We will be hosting our First Annual Pediatric Cancer Fundraising Event on September 21, 2019 (rain date is 9/22/19) at Crestwood Country Day School in Melville, NY. In an effort to build on the momentum from last year's success, we are committed to creating a family centric party atmosphere to celebrate all that we can accomplish when we can come together. We hope to empower our children to be more than just cheerleaders for our cause. Dance helped Sawyer's family connect and find joy during the most challenging of circumstances. Now we hope to share that joy with other families and our community in the most spirited way possible with your help.
September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month and our inaugural event is set to include a DJ, Dance Party, BBQ, Snacks, Free Giveaways, Live Entertainment, Special Guests and much more!
