"Southampton Arts Center is excited to announce that they will kick off Memorial Day weekend with a nostalgic Drive-In film screening at Coopers Beach in Southampton Village. Now that Governor Andrew Cuomo has endorsed drive-ins as an acceptable form of public entertainment, SAC has decided to swiftly organize this special event to celebrate the unofficial start of summer. At sundown on Saturday, May 23, approximately 8:45 PM, SAC will present the 1981 Steven Spielberg classic Raiders of the Lost Ark, made possible by the generosity of Simone and David Levinson. This event will also serve as a Food Drive benefiting Heart of the Hamptons. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to donate in support of the local food bank.
