Duck Pond Day originally began with the tradition of an annual pond cleanup and preservation. Decades later, it's now part of the town’s tradition to get together as a community for a day of fun, food, arts and crafts, with some entertainment. The Chamber of Commerce raises money during events like this to help many local and community organizations.
