Description

Westbury Arts is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting our very first LGBTQ Pride Month exhibit entitled, “Everyday Pride.” Pride Month often evokes powerful images of celebrations with rainbow flags – but ‘pride’ means many things to different people. This curated, juried art exhibit will feature two-dimensional original works of art that explore how LGBTQ folks express pride on a day-to-day basis.

The exhibit will be on display at Nana’s Ice Cream & Coffee House from Tuesday, June 18 through Sunday, June 30. Join us for the opening reception on Tuesday, June 18 at 7pm.

WESTBURY ARTS: Westbury Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that delivers arts and cultural programs that connect, educate, and inspire our community.  Our workshops are open to all interested adults.

This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and administered by The Huntington Arts Council.
